August melancholy
Why do I love the changing seasons?
The calendar reveals—almost treacherously—that it is the end of August, and the air already carries that distinctive, cool scent of approaching autumn. For some, this is a time of sadness over the fading warmth, while for others, it marks the start of a cozy season filled with blankets and hot cocoa.
How do you feel about the changing seasons?
Personally, I always view it as a little refresh. Each season has its own unique "vibe":
Autumn is a time for deep conversations, books, and new beginnings.
Winter is a chance to slow down and surround yourself with candles and string lights.
Spring is a time of awakening and inspiration.
Summer is a season of energy, sunshine, and lightheartedness.
I admit, I’m one of those people who feels a twinge of sadness over summer sunsets, yet I’m already looking forward to the joy of putting on my favorite sweater and strolling through a golden park. There is a certain magic in not getting stuck in a single state of mind, but constantly changing right along with nature.
And what’s your favorite season? Are you the type who chases the sunshine until the very last moment, or are you already looking forward to wrapping yourself up in a cozy scarf? Let us know in the comments!
