Why do people pretend to be someone else online?
I’ve noticed something lately… a lot of people try so hard to be “perfect” online. Saying the right things, acting a certain way, trying to impress instead of just being real.
But honestly, I find it much more interesting when someone is just themselves — even with flaws, weird thoughts, or a slightly different way of seeing things. That’s what actually makes a person stand out.
I don’t think real connection comes from perfection. It comes from honesty, emotion, and those small unexpected moments in a conversation when you realize - that's what's real.
So tell me… do you prefer to keep things simple and real, or do you think a little mystery makes it more interesting?
