What Impression Would You Share with Me?

Portugal left a very special feeling in me…
Everything there feels different - calmer, brighter, cozier.
The first thing I remember is the stone tiles under my feet.
Every street is like a little mosaic with its own story. And people are so kind and well-mannered. They always let you pass at the crosswalk, they smile, they don’t get angry. It feels like everything happens more slowly, with respect for each other.
And the shops… a real paradise for the eyes! So much fish and seafood, the kind we don’t have in England or Lithuania. Squid, shrimp, different kinds of fish…
And the sweets! Pastries, cakes, desserts… it feels like the whole country smells of vanilla and cinnamon.
By the sea I had magical moments. Warm water, the sound of the waves, and the cliffs like something from a fairytale with arches, caves, greenery.
I even saw huge jellyfish - they were so big I got a little scared!
