Sometimes one chance meeting changes not just a day... but your whole life.
Several years ago, something happened to me that my friends still call a small miracle.
It happened on a warm summer evening. I was walking alone through the narrow streets of the old town, where the air smelled of jasmine, fresh coffee, and sun-warmed stone. I wasn't in a hurry, just enjoying the moment. Suddenly, I noticed an elderly man sitting on a bench, looking at an old photograph. His eyes were filled with sadness.
I smiled and asked him if everything was okay.
He invited me to sit next to him.
We talked for almost two hours.
He told me that exactly forty years ago, he proposed to the woman of his life in this very square. Every year, he came here with a bouquet of flowers, even after she passed away. He said something I'll never forget:
*"The greatest happiness is finding someone with whom you want to spend even the most ordinary Tuesday."*
Before he left, he gave me a small silver coin.
"Here," he said. "When you meet your soulmate, show him this coin. If he smiles and doesn't ask how much it's worth, then you've found the right man."
Since then, this coin has always been in my purse.
Tell me, if I showed you this coin, and you didn't know this story, what would you say?
Sometimes I take it out and think... maybe that very person just hasn't had time to knock on my door yet.
Maybe I'm writing him this letter right now.
And now I'm really interested in getting to know you.
Do you believe in coincidences that turn out to be fate?
Have you ever experienced an event in your life that made you realize everything happened exactly as it was meant to?
And if fate gave us a whole day today just for the two of us, where would you take the girl who knows how to laugh heartily, enjoys long conversations, and still keeps a little lucky coin in her purse?
I eagerly await your reply.
Yours,
**Dragitsa**
