Can KISSES be boring?
Can kisses be boring?
I think they can. And I think it's a tragedy.
A kiss should never be boring. A kiss should be a promise. It should be a question and an answer all at once. It should make your toes curl and your heart race. It should be the kind of memory that makes you smile days later.
But what happens when the magic fades? When a kiss becomes just a habit, like brushing your teeth before bed? When it's a quick peck on the way out the door, with no feeling, no passion, no fire?
I think it happens when we stop trying. When we forget that a kiss is a conversation. It's not just lips touching. It's souls saying hello.
I believe in the power of a good kiss. A slow, deep kiss that tells you everything you need to know. A playful, teasing kiss that makes you laugh. A desperate, hungry kiss that says "I can't wait another second." Each one is different. Each one is special. 1
So, how do we stop the boredom? How do we keep the fire alive? Maybe it's about trying something new. A different place, a different time, a different way. Maybe it's about looking at each other before you kiss, really looking, and remembering why you fell in love in the first place.
