Why do some moments feel like a movie?
Why do some moments feel like a movie?
Sometimes I catch myself thinking…
this feels like a scene from a film.
Nothing dramatic.
Nothing perfect.
Just a simple moment.
Walking somewhere without a plan.
Laughing a little more than usual.
Looking at someone
and feeling like time slowed down for a second.
Like in those movies
where nothing really happens…
but you still feel everything.
Sometimes I think about Before Sunrise.
Two people.
One night.
Just conversations.
No promises.
No plans for the future.
Just… presence.
And maybe that’s why it felt so real.
Because they weren’t trying to impress each other.
They were just being.
I feel like we forget how to do that.
We think too much about “what’s next.”
About where it’s going.
About how it’s supposed to be.
But maybe the most beautiful moments
are the ones without a plan.
The ones you don’t try to control.
The ones that just… happen.
And maybe
not every story needs a perfect ending.
Some are meant to stay
exactly like that moment.
Unfinished.
But still… special.
And after all of that
another thought came to me.
Maybe these moments are real life.
Not the ones we plan.
Not the ones that look “right.”
But the ones we never tried to create —
yet remember the most.
The ones you keep going back to in your mind.
Even if they never happen again. ✨
