When silence speaks louder than words
Sometimes you send a letter... and the response is silence.
Not awkward. Not random. And almost conscious.
And then you start to think:
Didn't the message arrive?
is the person busy?
or is this the same strategic pause?
Silence is an amazing tool.
It can stir up interest.
May add mystery.
Or, on the contrary, it may gradually erase even the most vivid impression.
We live in a world of instant notifications. Messages arrive in seconds.
Therefore, a pause is rarely technical; more often it is emotional.
Sometimes people take a step back to check the reaction.
Sometimes - to maintain a sense of control.
And sometimes simply because they don’t know what to answer.
But the most interesting thing is the return.
When, after a long pause, a person appears as if nothing had happened.
As if silence is also part of the game.
And here the main question arises:
Is this a deliberate strategy or just a coincidence?
Be that as it may, clarity is always more attractive than uncertainty.
And sincerity is stronger than any tactics.
What do you think - is silence in communication a tool or an accident?
