Once my mom gave me an advice…

I still remember that day. I was crying over something small like a fight, disappointment, I don’t even recall now.
Mom just looked at me and said quietly:

“Never chase people. The ones who want to stay — will.”

It sounded too simple back then, but now I see how right she was.
You can’t make someone love you, care about you, or stay by your side.
All you can do is be real, be kind, and never lose your own light.

That advice saved me from a lot of pain later.
